Interior of a modern coffee shop or restaurant with hanging light bulbs, a neon sign reading 'Archives' on the wall, and a mix of tables and seating areas with plants and decorative items.
Bright, modern cafe with large windows, wooden tables, and chairs, plants, and a person ordering at the counter.

WhAT WE DID

Working with the village developer, we created a family-friendly café concept from the ground up. From concept design and branding through to consent, procurement and execution, we delivered a warm, community-driven hospitality space.

Location: Hamilton Central

Date: august 2019

Archies was designed as a cornerstone café for the growing Borman Village community, delivered through full concept design and build. We collaborated with the developer to establish a family-friendly identity before shaping the interior layout, material palette and branding to support that vision. Craftsmanship and detail were central to the project, with thoughtful joinery, durable finishes and a warm, welcoming colour scheme tailored to local neighbourhood living. The result is a community hub that feels personal and thoughtfully crafted.

Inside a coffee shop with a barista preparing drinks behind a pink La Marzocco espresso machine. There is a menu on the wall listing coffee options like flat white, cappuccino, latte, long black, hot chocolate, mocha, and a shot almond soy. A hanging shelf with packages and a plant is above the counter.
