WhAT WE DID

Interior & Spatial Design, Building consent, Project Management. A new site for this iconic Hamilton eatery, they wanted fun, vibrant & drawing on their Chinese heritage.

Location: CAMBRIDGE

Date: 2020

This project combined bold, expressive interior styling with cultural storytelling inspired by the owners’ Chinese heritage. Through close collaboration, we curated a colour palette, artwork and feature elements that bring vibrancy to the space while ensuring durability for high-traffic dining. The result is a warm, energetic restaurant filled with layered textures, custom detailing and a balance of heritage influence and modern New Zealand design principles.
